Increased Police Presence At The Bernardsville Train Stations
Increased patrol will remain in effect until further notice.

BERNARDSVILLE, NJ — Bernardsville Police are increasing patrols at the local train station in town after five explosive devices were found at a train station in Elizabeth overnight.
"Absolutely, we will be increasing patrol as manpower allows," Bernardsville Lt. John Remian said.
The increased patrol will remain until further notice, he added.

The Bernardsville Train Station are located along the Gladstone Line, which is part of the Morris & Essex Lines.
The incident in Elizabeth happened just two days after a pipe bomb exploded in a trash can at a charity 5K run in Seaside Heights, and an explosion that injured 29 people in the Chelsea section of Manhattan.

Anyone should report any suspicious packages, or any suspicious activity, at the train station by calling police at (908) 766-0037 or 911.
