Kid's Tennis Equipment Stolen From Bedminster Car
Bedminster Police also made 2 arrests for driving while intoxicated, 1 for marijuana possession and 1 for outstanding warrant.

BEDMINSTER, NJ — An unlocked Bedminster vehicle was burglarized recently in the the township.
On Sept. 15 at 12:27 p.m.: Bedminster Police responded to a residence on Southfield Drive for a burglary to a vehicle. Upon arrival the officer spoke to the owners of the vehicle who stated that an unknown person took their children’s tennis bags and equipment from the hatchback of the vehicle. They advised that thetheft occurred between 7 p.m. on Sept. 13 and 7 a.m. on Sept. 14 and their vehicle was not locked.

On Sept. 10 at approximately 2:16 a.m.: Bedminster Police observed a white Nissan Maxima traveling on Route 206 southbound in the area of Lamington Road with an obstructed windshield due to tint. A motor vehicle stop was conducted on Route 202/206 southbound just prior to the I-287 southbound entrance ramp.Subsequent to the investigation, the passenger, David Diaz, 45, of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania was arrested for possession of controlled dangerous substance(CDS) marijuana under 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia. The driver, Francisco Alvarez, 38, of New Britain, Connecticut was issued motor vehicle summonses for failure to possess driver's license or registration, obstruction of windshield for vision, operation of motor vehicle while in possession of CDS and driving with an expired license.
On Sept. 14 at 1:01 p.m.: Bedminster Police responded to a motor vehicle crash at Lamington Road and Route 206. Subsequent to the investigation, Mary Warner, 54, of Califon was arrested for driving while intoxicated and issued motor vehicle summonses for tailgating, careless driving, and reckless driving. No injuries were reported in the accident.

On Sept. 15 at 3:33 a.m.: Bedminster Police initiated a motor vehicle stop on a white Subaru Legacy on Route 206 in the vicinity of the Church of the Hills. Prior to the stop, the officer observed a vehicle traveling northbound on Route 206 without its tail lights on. The vehicle’s automatic running head lights were on and the officer further observed the vehicle swerve within its lane as it traveled northbound. Subsequent to the investigation, Sergei Misjura, 30, of Slough, UK was arrested for driving while intoxicated and issued failure to use lighted lamps when required, failure to maintain lane, reckless driving and careless driving.
On Sept. 16 at 1:33 p.m.: Shpresim Shabaj, 20, of Brooklyn, New York responded to Bedminster Police Headquarters to satisfy a warrant from Bedminster. Shabaj posted bail for $200 and was processed and released.
