Know the 10 Signs: Early Detection of Alzheimer's Matters
Separate myth from reality. Learn the 10 warning signs of Alzheimer's disease, how to recognize them, and how to plan for the future.

The warning signs of Alzheimer’s disease are often dismissed as side effects of normal aging, but if you or someone you know is experiencing memory loss or changes in behavior or thinking skills, it’s time to learn the facts. Come to Bernardsville Public Library on Tuesday, June 23 at 7:00 pm when Laura Hawkins of the Alzheimer’s Association will separate myth from reality and address commonly held fears about Alzheimer’s disease.
Early detection, diagnosis and intervention are vital in dealing with Alzheimer’s because they provide the best opportunities for treatment, support, and planning for the future. At this interactive workshop, participants will learn the ten warning signs of Alzheimer’s disease, find out how to recognize the signs, and learn about the steps they should to take.
There is no charge to attend the program, but advance sign-up is requested. Register online at www.bernardsvillelibrary.org and follow the link from Adult Programs, or call the library at 908-766-0118 to sign up.
