Living into the New Creation Story: A Four Week Lenten Exploration

In the last 200 years, science has shown us the immensity of the cosmos, the ancient age of the earth, and the long process of evolution.  How does this “new creation story” stretch and enrich the meaning of the saga of God and humanity in Holy Scripture?

In this Lenten series, we will use Scripture, science and cross-cultural history to explore:
*What does it mean to be human in such a huge cosmos?
*A fresh sense of the sacredness of creation as the Lord’s home
*Scripture in the light of an expanded sense of the universe
*New sense in doctrines like the Trinity
