Man Arrested For Giving Fake Name To Bedminster Police
A Newark man was arrested for hindering apprehension after he gave police a fake name, Bedminster Police reported

Bedminster, NJ - A Newark man was arrested for hindering apprehension after he gave police a fake name, Bedminster Police reported.
Attelus Mensahn, 27 of Newark was arrested on July 12 at 12:32 a.m. following a motor vehicle stop for swerving a late model silver Toyota SUV with a NY registration "all over the roadway", police reported.
He was also arrested on a traffic warrant out of Newark for $500, a traffic warrant out of Old Tappan for $264 and a criminal warrant out of Riverdale for $326.

Mensahn was also issued motor vehicle summonses for obstructing passage of other vehicles, failure to exhibit documents, unlicensed driver, driving while suspended, failure to keep right, failure to yield to emergency vehicles and operating motor vehicle while using cellphone.
Mensahn was released on her own recognizance with a new court date.
