Memoirs and Coffee Book Group to Discuss "The Lost Ravioli Recipes of Hoboken"

Book discussion about the author's quest to find a long-lost family recipe for ravioli-the food of celebration and happiness.

Bernardsville Library’s book group, Memoirs and Coffee, will meet Tuesday, October 27 at 10:30 am to discuss “The Lost Ravioli Recipes of Hoboken: A Search for Food and Family” by Laura Schenone. The book is the 2015 “One Book Bernardsville” selection and describes the author’s quest to find a long-lost family recipe for ravioli. In her quest, she traveled from New Jersey’s gritty industrial wastelands and the fast-paced disposable culture of its suburbs to the dramatically beautiful coast of Liguria with its pesto, smoked chestnuts, torte, and, most beloved of all—ravioli, the food of celebration and happiness.
