Motorcyclist Arrested For DUI In Fresh Market Lot In Bedminster
A Randolph man and an East Orange man were also arrested last week in Bedminster, according to the police blotter.

BEDMINSTER, NJ — A Bound Brook man was arrested for driving under the influence following a check at the Fresh Market parking lot in Bedminster, police report.
Bedminster Police Blotter:
On Feb. 24 at 10:48 p.m.: Bedminster Police advised Somerset County Communications they would be checking on three males with motorcycles in the parking lot of the Fresh Market (35 Washington Valley Road). Subsequent to the investigation, Daniel Diettmann, age 25 of Bound Brook was arrested for 39:4-50 (driving under the influence) and issued summonses for 39:3-10 (unlicensed driver), 39:3-40 (driving while suspended), and 39:3-4 (expired registration).

On Feb. 25 at approximately 9:03 p.m.: While running radar on Route 206 at Church of the Hills, Bedminster Police observed a black Chevy Cobalt traveling at a high rate of speed. The motor vehicle stop was conducted at Route 206 and Pfizer way. Subsequent to the investigation, Richard Cruz, age 27 of Randolph was arrested for a $750 traffic warrant out of Randolph Twp. for failure to appear and a no bail warrant out of Morris County Sheriff. Cruz was issued motor vehicle summonses for 39:4-98 (speeding), 39:3-40 (driving while suspended), 39:5-35 (failure to surrender suspended license), 39:3-29 (failure to possess vehicle registration) and 39:3-10a (driving with an expired license). Cruz was turned over to the Morris County Sheriff’s Department.
On Feb. 25 at approximately 11:34 p.m.: Bedminster Police responded to Rattlesnake Bridge Road and Route 78 overpass for a disabled vehicle. Subsequent to the investigation, the driver, Kevin Weaver, age 36 of East Orange was arrested for a $1,000 traffic warrant out of East Orange for failure to appear. Weaver was also arrested for 2C:29:3B(1) (hindering) and issued motor vehicle summonses for 39:3-29 (failure to possess valid insurance card), 39:3-74 (obstructed windshield), and 39:3-40 (driving while suspended). Weaver was unable to post bail and was turned over to East Orange Police.
