Multiple Packages Reported Stolen From Bedminster Porch
Bedminster Police also reported making 2 arrests for outstanding warrants recently.

BEDMINSTER, NJ — Multiple packages were reportedly stolen before Christmas from a Bedminster porch, according to the police blotter.
On Jan. 7 at about 2:59 p.m.: The Bedminster Police responded to a resident on Sage Court for a report of a theft. Upon arrival, the officer spoke with the resident who advised several packages were stolen from her front porch between Dec. 16 and 20. The items were ordered from Amazon and delivered to the front door by USPS and UPS. The estimated value of the items is under $200.

On Jan. 8 at about 9:39 p.m.: Bedminster Police observed a red Nissan Altima traveling on Route 206 northbound fail to give a proper turn signal while making a right hand turn onto Lamington Road. The vehicle also came to a complete stop in the turning lane of travel delaying traffic for vehicles behind him. A motor vehicle stop was conducted in the back parking lot of the Bedminster Township Post Office off of Lamington Road. Subsequent to the investigation, Giovanni Morales-Degales, 30, of Plainfield was arrested for a warrant out of Bernardsville for $400, a warrant out of Westfield for $1,000and hindering apprehension. Morales-Degales was also issued motor vehicle
summonses for failure to give proper signal – turning or stopping, driving without a license – never licensed, delaying traffic, driving after driver's license / registration suspended / revoked and failure to possess driver's license or registration. He was unable to post bail on the warrants and was turned over to Westfield Police.
On Jan. 9 at about 11:19 p.m.: Bedminster Police observed a white ford Taurus traveling on Route 202/206 northbound with an obstructed front windshield due to a tinted front driver’s side and front passenger’s side windows. A motor vehicle stop was conducted on Route 206 northbound in the area of Somerset Financial Drive. Subsequent to the investigation, the passenger, Niasia Heath, 22, of Willingboro was arrested for a no bail NCIC warrant out of Burlington County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on a larceny charge, a warrant out of Willingboro for $150, a warrant out of Burlington City for $650.03, a warrant out of Burlington Township for $500 and a warrant out of Roxbury Township for $750. Heath was lodged in Somerset County Jail. The driver, Carolyn Money, 21, of Lindenwold was issued a motor vehicle summons for obstruction of windshield for vision.
