Mushroom Meander at Scherman Hoffman
Join in a search for all sorts of fungi on August 23, 2 PM to 4 PM at NJ Audubon's Scherman Hoffman Wildlife Sanctuary in Bernardsvill

Join Dorothy Smullen, former president of the NJ Mycological Association, for a stroll along the river trail to search and identify the various groups of fleshy fungi such as, Jelly, Bracket and Coral. She will also discuss assorted lichens, which are included in the fungi kingdom.
Not only are fungi important as nature’s recyclers and food for animals, but many are essential for the health of oak and pine forests. Come check out the variety and see what we can find. $5 members, $7 nonmembers.
