1,000 Still Without Power In Bernardsville, Bedminster
1K residents in Bernardsville, Bedminster are still without power 5 days after Friday's nor'easter causing Somerset Hills to close schools.

BERNARDSVILLE, NJ — More than 1,000 residents in Bernardsville and Bedminster are still without power five days after Friday's nor'easter.
Due to the power loss the Somerset Hills School District closed all schools again on Tuesday. Schools were also closed on Monday.
JCP&L is reporting 999 Bernardsville residents and 60 Bedminster are still without power as of Tuesday. Power is projected to be restored by 11:30 p.m. Tuesday for Bedminster residents and by 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday for Bernardsville residents.

As a result, a warming station has been set up at Bernardsville Library, 1 Anderson Hill Road and is opening early at 8 a.m.
Additionally, JCP&L will be performing helicopter patrols of the Northern New Jersey transmission lines on Tuesday. Two helicopters will be used to facilitate the process.
