New Jersey Audubon: Fantastic Flora

A lecture, led by Dorothy Smullen, Teacher Naturalist

Before you get out to photograph flowers or work in your garden this spring…can you answer these questions? Do plants communicate? Why do some stems twine? How is the leaf structurally set for making “food”? What are mycorrhizae? What triggers blooming in plants? What are the strategies to attract pollinators? Why do some seeds need light to germinate? Find out the answers in this power point presentation.
