NJ Audubon: Great Backyard Bird Count at Scherman Hoffman Wildlife Sanctuary

A family, citizen-science event counting visiting birds to NJ Audubon's Scherman-Hoffman Wildlife Sanctuary.

Join us for the Great Backyard Bird Count, an annual, national citizen-science family event sponsored by Cornell University and the National Audubon Society, led by Stephanie Punnett, Program Director. Learn about some common backyard birds as we observe and count the birds that visit the Sanctuary’s bird-feeding station. The counts will be submitted to the GBBC website. We’ll have loaner binoculars and field guides to use. We’ll also make a bird treat to take home.

When: Saturday, February 13th, 2016 from 1pm to 2:30pm

Where: NJ Audubon Scherman-Hoffman Wildlife Sanctuary, 11 Hardscrabble Road, Bernardsville, NJ, 07924
