NJ Youth Chorus Holiday Concert

A lovely event for the whole family featuring holiday and winter music, at Morristown's Mayo PAC, Sunday, December 7, at 3 pm.

The New Jersey Youth Chorus will be performing its holiday concert on Sunday, December 7 at 3:00 pm at the Mayo Performing Arts Center in Morristown, New Jersey. This concert will include a variety of holiday and winter music suitable for the whole family, and will feature the Advanced Chorus, Young Men’s Ensemble, Intermediate Chorus, newly formed Boys’ Ensemble, and Apprentice Chorus, comprising five of its six current ensembles.

This is the first concert for the 23rd season of the New Jersey Youth Chorus, which was started in 1992. During its last season, the New Jersey Youth Chorus performed at the Super Bowl with Queen Latifah, with the Chieftains at the Town Hall in New York City, and at Carnegie Hall. The New Jersey Youth Chorus has performed with the New Jersey State Repertory Opera in its production of Carmen, at Lincoln Center and at NJPAC.

Tickets range from $10.00 to $30.00 and may be purchased directly at www.mayoarts.org.

The following local children will be performing: Hudson Davis and Rachel Goldman of Bedminster; Sophie Bosie, Daniel Celentano, Hanna Celentano, Sarah Celentano, Gregory Heimerl, Curtis Johnson, Grace Martin, Deirdre Tobin and Allison Voight of Bernardsville; Colin Edwards, Andrew Schwed, Mairead Studdiford and Lily Turner of Far Hills; Josh Berg, Michael Fitzgerald, and Lia Rampinelli of Gladstone; and Alison Birkitt of Peapack; as well as children from throughout New Jersey.
