Paintings by Andrea Gianchiglia and Her Students: October Exhibition at Bernardsville Library

An exhibition of paintings by Andrea Gianchiglia and her adult students at the Center for Contemporary Art in Bedminster.

Bernardsville Public Library is pleased to present an exhibition of paintings during the month of October by Andrea Gianchiglia and her adult students at the Center for Contemporary Art in Bedminster. The opening reception, to which the public is invited, will be held on Sunday, October 4 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm.

Ms. Gianchiglia, who lives in Califon, New Jersey, leans towards realism in her style of painting, focusing on her true passion: animal and wildlife art as well as rural themed still-lifes. She has won many awards and has been an art teacher for ten years at the Center for Contemporary Art where she develops and instructs courses for adults that revolve around different mediums. In her classes, she emphasizes knowledge in various two-dimensional mediums such as oil, charcoal, graphite, pastel, and watercolor. This show will exhibit a few of her paintings along with those by her adult students.

The show will be on view in the library’s Community Room from October 3 through October 30 during regular library hours unless a meeting is in progress. For further information, please call the library at 908-766-0118.
