Possible Luring Incident Reported In Bernardsville

Breaking: A 12-year-old boy reported that while waiting outside The Bagel Bin in Olcott Square, a man driving dark SUV offered him a ride.

BERNARDSVILLE, NJ — A possible luring incident was reported in Olcott Square in Bernardsville by the Somerset Hills School District on Monday, according to Bernards Township Regional Chamber of Commerce.

A 12-year-old boy reported that while waiting outside The Bagel Bin in Olcott Square, a man driving dark SUV offered him a ride. The driver claimed he had five children, told the boy not to worry and asked him if he played sports.

The driver is described as a middle-aged white male with a slight beard wearing a dark baseball cap and sunglasses, according to Bernards Township Regional Chamber of Commerce.
