President Trump Heads To Bedminster Friday, Protest Planned

BEDMINSTER, NJ — President Donald Trump is heading to Bedminster Friday for his fourth weekend visit at Trump National Golf Course. Here's a look at his schedule.

The President is expected to arrive at Morristown Municipal Airport at 5:25 p.m. and will then leave around 5:35 p.m. by helicopter to head to Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster.

He is expected to land at the Bedminster Landing Zone at 5:45 p.m.

The Federal Aviation Administration's VIP Temporary Flight Restriction (TFR) in the Bedminster Township, Morristown and surrounding region for through Sunday to 6:30 p.m. when Trump is expected to fly back to the White House.

Not everyone is happy with Trump's return as a motorcade is set to protest on Saturday outside the golf course.

The People's Motorcade will host a rally from 9 to 10:30 a.m. in Bedminster. Those interested in joining the motorcade can meet up at Ten Eyck Park, 1005 Route 28, Branchburg Township at 9 a.m. to depart at 9:30 a.m. or meet at Clarence Dillon Library, 2336 Lamington Road in Bedminster at 9:30 a.m. to depart at 9:45 a.m.

Activists will gather to dress the cars and then do a looping motorcade in front of Trump National Golf Course in Bedminster. Weather permitting they will then rally at the Free Speech Zone at Clarence Dillon Public Library. For more information visit peoplesmotorcade.com or Facebook.

Despite the flight restrictions, the annual QuickChek New Jersey Festival of Ballooning will go on as planned. Held on Friday through Sunday at Solberg Airport in Readington, visitors to the festival shouldn't expect any presidential delays.
