Cross and Crown 5K and an Evening with THE NERDS

On April 18, 2015 the School of Saint Elizabeth, 30 Seney Drive, Bernardsville, will host it’s annual fundraiser, “The Cross & Crown 5K.” Open to adults and children, this USATF-certified race offers runners a challenging course in scenic Bernardsville, NJ, and draws hundreds of community members who kick off the spring running season together, while raising critical funds needed by the school. This year’s race boasts fun for the whole family, and features an all-new “Vendor Circle” with display and selling tables from local merchants and businesses.

At the race conclusion, the school will magically transform into a rock concert venue, where the fun continues with the 2nd annual “E-Rocks!, An Evening With The Nerds”, an unbelievable event headlined by one of America’s most famous cover bands. Guests will dine, drink and dance into the night, with opportunities to win an array of prizes in raffle baskets and silent auctions. All proceeds from this event, which drew over 250 ticket-holders in 2014, directly provide much-needed funds for educational and charitable initiatives. The event promises an increased attendance this year, and is open to the public, aged 21 and over.

For nearly a century, The School of St. Elizabeth has been a benchmark of academic excellence in the Bernardsville community, evidenced by this year’s significant increase in enrollment. With high academic standards, and a strong integration of technology into their curriculum, the school promises to stimulate intellectual curiosity, encourage creativity, and foster self respect alongside strict anti-bullying policies. The annual Cross & Crown 5K race and ERocks! concert are the school’s largest critical fundraisers of the year, and money raised supports rising tuition costs, the arts, technology, athletics, student activities, and so much more.
