Road Paving, Railroad Work Begin In Bernardsville

Bernadsville, NJ - If you are driving through Benardsville, you should be aware of multiple road construction projects being conducting in Bernardsville.

Milling and paving work will be done on the following roads in the borough:

Milling from 7 a.m. to around 5 p.m.

• June 16 – Old Army Road from Van Courtland Way to Mullens Lane
• June 17 – Lower Chilton Street then move to Charlotte Hill Drive
• June 20 – Page Hill Road then move to Crownview Lane

• June 20 – Old Army Road from Van Courtland Way to Mullens Lane
• June 21 – Lower Chilton Street then move to Charlotte Hill Drive
• June 22 – Page Hill Road then move to Crownview Lane

There is also rehabilitation work being done on the Railroad Crossing on Meeker Road.  The existing Railroad Crossing will be removed and a new concrete railroad crossing will be installed with new asphalt approaches. 

Meeker Road will be closed from Thursday June 16 at 7 a.m. until Wednesday June 22 at 7 p.m. Traffic will be detoured using Route 202, Mt. Airy Road and Pill Hill Road.
