Route 202 Construction To Continue Through Mid-October
The NJDOT is installing a new three sided culvert over Mine Brook on Rt 202 near Douglas Ave. in Bernardsville.

BERNARDSVILLE, NJ — The Department of Transportation has started work installing a new three sided culvert over Mine Brook on Rt 202 near Douglas Ave. in Bernardsville.
The NJ DOT is putting into effect an aggressive 16 hr/day schedule with the intent of getting this job completed as soon as possible. Given the proximity of homes to the construction site the NJ DOT feels it would be inappropriate to work any longer that.
Work will be allowed to take place between the hours of 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., seven days a week.

With this schedule and weather permitting the NJ DOT expects to have the roadway fully open to traffic by mid-October.
Car and truck detours will remain in place throughout the construction.

Truck and Car Detours are in place. Motorists should follow posted signs. Trucks are reminded to avoid Meeker Road and follow the Truck Detour due to the elevated RR Track crossing and Bridge weight
Restrictions in place on Meeker Road.
