Save Our Ash Trees!
Learn about the destructive emerald ash borer--its history, identification, life cycle, biology, host trees and controls.

Emerald ash borer is now considered the most destructive forest pest ever seen in North America. Our own landscape is at risk with an estimated 50,000 ash trees in Bernardsville and Basking Ridge alone. Join us on Tuesday, May 26 at 7:00 pm at Bernardsville Public Library for an informative presentation by Nicholas Polanin, Agricultural Agent in Somerset County, during which he will discuss emerald ash borer history, identification, life cycle, biology, host trees and controls. Hosted in partnership with the Bernardsville Shade Tree Committee, Bernards Township Shade Tree Commission and Keiling Tree Care. Free. No sign-up is needed.
