Learn about popular apps and websites and get answers to some of the common questions that come up in the ever-changing digital world.

Bernards Township Library and Bernardsville Library are pleased to announce the next classes in their series, “Serious Fun: Use Your Device to Improve Your Life." The classes highlight popular apps and websites and help answer some of the common questions that come up in the ever-changing digital world. The new classes, which are designed to have wide interest and appeal, will cover a variety of topics and will begin in mid-March. More are planned monthly through May 2018.

The first class is "Discover the Cloud with Google Drive." It will be held at Bernardsville Public Library on Thursday, March 15 at 10:30 am and on Monday, March 26 at 7:00 pm at Bernards Township Library. Presenter Karen Andriolo, Teen Librarian at Bernards Township Library will discuss the "Cloud" and tell listeners how to use Google Drive to store files, collaborate on projects, and organize their lives. Attendees are asked to bring a device or laptop as well as their email address and password.

In April, the topics will be "Top Apps for Readers" and "Communicating Through Popular Teen Apps." Each will be offered once at each library. For more information and to sign up, go to seriousfunlibraries.org. Further topics are planned for May on Instagram and Snapchat and how to increase productivity. Enrollment for later classes will open in mid-April. All the classes are free and advance registration is requested.
