Special Law Enforcement Officers Open In Bernardsville

BERNARDSVILLE, NJ — The Bernardsville Police Department is looking to fill available Special Law Enforcement Officers II (SLEO II) positions.

This position is for a SLEO II that will be assigned part time to work as needed for various duties such as patrol, traffic details, critical incidents and outside private contract details.

Applicants must be available to attend and successfully complete mandatory agency training, firearms qualifications and in-service training. After determining an applicant's initial qualification for the position, a background check and medical and psychological exams will be completed.
