"They Kept Us Safe, Let's Keep Them Warm"

Third Annual New Winter Clothing Collection For Local Disabled and Homeless Veterans

Veteran’s Day kicks off the third Annual, “They Kept Us Safe, Let’s Keep Them Warm,” new winter clothing collection for the disabled, and formerly homeless veterans housed at Community Hope’s Hope For Veterans facilities located on the Lyons, N.J. VA campus.

There are currently 167 veterans residing at two facilities. A group of dedicated volunteers is collecting brand new hats, scarves, gloves, socks, slippers, ear muffs, and winter coats (Men’s XL-3XL).  

All donated items will be gift wrapped, and hand-delivered to the veterans on Christmas Eve.

In addition, this year a food drive has been included. Any canned goods, nuts, crackers, granola bars, cereal bars, cereals, oatmeal packets, etc.
