Three Home Burglaries Reported In Bedminster
A black 4 door sedan was observed at two of the residences during the time of the burglaries, Bedminster police report.

Bedminster, NJ - Three home burglaries were reported last week in Bedminster, according to the police blotter.
On June 22 at 1:21 p.m.: Bedminster Police were dispatched to 125 Union Grove Road for a reported burglary. Upon arrival Bedminster Police met with the live-in babysitter, who advised she went to the Chester Post Office at 12:20 p.m. and when she returned at 1 p.m. she found the home had been ransacked. The officers then checked the neighboring residences and found that 111 Union Grove Road had also been burglarized. A black 4 door sedan was observed at both residences during the time of the burglaries. Investigation is pending.
On June 22 at 7:01 p.m.: Bedminster Police responded to 19 Mountain Court for a report of a theft. The homeowner advised she just returned home from the hospital for a couple days and found that several items including $190 cash, jewelry and clothing were missing. There were no signs of forced entry. Investigation pending.

Suspicious Vehicle
On June 23 at approximately 12:27 a.m.: While on patrol of Rattlesnake Bridge Road at the end of Red Tail Farm, Bedminster Police observed a Beige Toyota Camry parked with the headlights off. Three juveniles were located in the vehicle and advised they were on their way home when one of the juvenile’s felt sick so they pulled over. A faint odor of raw marijuana was coming from the interior of the vehicle. All occupants were cooperative with a search of the vehicle. No evidence of marijuana was recovered. The odor was a combination of vomit, dirty laundry and possibly a skunk in the area. The juvenile’s parents were notified of the incident and were thankful.

Warrant Arrest
On June 24 at 10:15 a.m.: Bedminster Police were advised of a warrant found by Somerset County Jail while a subject was serving weekends for an unrelated matter. Jacob Acosta, age 21 of Middlesex was arrested on a $500. Bedminster Twp. Municipal Court warrant for a traffic ticket for 39:3-40(driving while suspended). Acosta was released on his own recognizance with a new court date.
MV Burglary
On June 24 at 10 a.m.: Franklin Lakes resident responded to headquarters to report a burglary of her vehicle. She informed Bedminster Police that while attending a company picnic at the Pluckemin Schoolhouse Park on June 23 from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. her black and grey Swiss Tech backpack which contained a Dell Latitude laptop was missing. The total loss was $3,250.
Suspicious Incident
On June 24 at 3:34 p.m.: Bedminster Police responded to Dunbar Court to speak to a resident in reference to a fraud report. The resident advised at approximately 3:03 p.m. he received a call from (773)768-2226 and the person claimed to be his grandson “Josh”. The subject claimed that he was at the Cook County Jail in Chicago and needed bail money for a DUI crash. He further stated that he sustained facial injuries during the crash and that was why he did not sound like his normal self. The resident immediately recognized this to be a scam and hung up.
Warrant Arrest
On June 24 at 8:56 p.m.: Bedminster Police responded to headquarters for an individual who wanted to post bail on a warrant. Christina Lusch, age 27 of Bentley Court in Bedminster posted bail for a $114 Shrewsbury warrant on a traffic ticket for 39:3-4 (unregistered vehicle).
DUI Arrest
On June 25 at 8:34 p.m.: Bedminster Police responded to 22 Cambridge Road for a report of a suspicious vehicle parked for several hours in the driveway with the driver’s side door open. Upon arrival the officer located a white Jaguar in the driveway with an unconscious female in the driver’s seat. Subsequent to the investigation Natalie Jacoby, age 45 of Cambridge Road was arrested for 39:4-50 (driving under the influence) and issued motor vehicle summonses for 39:4-97 (careless driving), 39:3-10 (driving without a license) and 39:3-40 (driving while suspended).
