Travel Apps: Use Your Device to Improve Your Life

Learn about the latest travel organization tips and tricks and put traveling with stacks of printed materials behind you.

It can be hard to keep up with the ever-changing digital world, and so Bernards Township Library and Bernardsville Library have teamed up to offer a series of classes, “Serious Fun: Use Your Device to Improve Your Life," which highlight popular apps and websites and help answer some of the common questions that come up.

The next class covers travel apps. Travel apps allow you to research unfamiliar places, listen to audio tours, turn photos into postcards and more. Learn about the latest travel organization tips and tricks, and put the days of traveling with stacks of printed confirmations and tour books behind you! This class will be held at Bernards Township Library on Monday, October 2 at 7:00 pm and Friday, October 6 at 10:30 am at Bernardsville Public Library. It's free, but advance sign-up is required at seriousfunlibraries.org.

"We tried to select areas with wide interest and appeal," said both Library Directors, "Our teachers are all library staff members who have a special interest in the mobile apps and websites which they will discuss." The next classes will cover streaming media, apps for kids, podcasts, and online safety and fitness apps.
