'Trump Cemetery' Complete With Graves Marks End Of Liberties

The fake cemetery included 6 headstones, candles, flowers, fresh dirt marking out the graves and a spray-painted gold shovel.

BEDMINSTER, NJ — Trump's National Golf Course in Bedminster was transformed into a fake cemetery by activist artists to mark the President's one-year anniversary of his inauguration on Jan. 20.

The activist called INDECLINE snuck onto Donald Trump's property the night of Jan. 19 to set up the elaborate and satirical "Trump Cemetery."

A cemetery entryway was constructed with a gold lettered sign stating "Trump Cemetery" and six headstones complete with fresh dirt to mark out the graves were placed.

The headstones marked the liberties or laws that Trump "essentially killed during his first year in office," an anonymous spokesperson told nj.com.

The headstones included the "American Dream" on Feb. 1, 2017; "Decency" on Jan. 20, 2017 corresponding with Trump's inauguration date; and "Our Future" on Sept. 2, 2017 corresponding with the end of DACA.

Candles, flowers and a spray painted gold shovel on an extra pile of dirt was also placed on the property.

The golf course was chosen after Trump announced the Bedminster property would be home to his family's resting place, according to nj.com.

Bedminster Police found the fake cemetery on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the 900 Lamington Road property.

None of the people involved have been identified at this time and the incident is still under investigation, police reported.
