Trump Golf Course Vandal Arrested For Causing $10K In Damage: Prosecutor
Breaking: The damage consisted of words written on the putting greens and were defaced by an unknown substance. Damage was more than $10K.

BEDMINSTER, NJ — A Hawaii man was arrested for causing more than $10,000 worth of damage to a golf course at Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, Somerset County Prosecutor Michael H. Robertson.
Sometime overnight between Sept. 11 and Sept. 12, it was discovered that nine golf course greens had been damaged by an unknown substance, the Director of Security at Trump National Golf Club reported on Sept. 12 at 8:35 a.m.
The damage consisted of words written on the putting greens and were defaced by the unknown substance. The estimated damage was more than $10,000, according to the report.

A sample from the damaged greens was sent to a forensic lab for further analysis, Robertson said.
Clifford Tillotson, 61, of Kaneohe, Hawaii was identified as the suspect responsible for the damages following an investigation involving Somerset County authorities working with New York authorities.

On Wednesday, Tillotson was charged with third degree criminal mischief. Tillotson awaits extradition to New Jersey due to the pending charges he faces in Westchester County for damages he caused at golf courses located in New York, Robertson reported.
