Trump In New Jersey: Golf, And Major North Korea Meeting On Thursday

What happens next - such as a war with North Korea - could depend on what happens at Trump's vacation spot in New Jersey.

It seems like Bedminster has become the center of the universe in recent days. And what happens next - such as war with North Korea - could depend on what comes out of President Donald Trump's golf club and summer vacation spot.

Following threats of war in an escalating crisis with North Korea, Trump is expected to have a significant meeting Thursday afternoon with Vice President Mike Pence, Chief of Staff John F. Kelly and National Security Advisor H.R. McMaster at Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster to discuss the situation.

He did made a brief appearance around 2:30 p.m. with Pence at his side:

Not much was revealed regarding the meeting's specific subject matter, but Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders told reporters that “nothing has changed” on Trump’s North Korea position.

Trump himself has remained largely silent on the issue over the past 24 hours, and reporters have been kept out of the loop regarding the president's vacation agenda in Bedminster.

The meeting announcement follows several eventful days at the Trump resort where the president made his remarks on Tuesday that any North Korean threat will be met with "fire and fury" by the United States. North Korea has responded by calling Trump "senile," saying he plays too much golf and threatening to attack Guam.

On Wednesday, a Russian spy plane buzzed near the golf club in what Politico called an attempt to "troll" Trump given the United State's imposing of sanctions on country.

Other than the news he has made about North Korea, those who have tried to follow Trump's whereabouts since the 17-day vacation in New Jersey started earlier this week have found little to show other than videos and photos of the president playing golf.

During one of those golf outings, he made an appearance at a wedding.

Trump also golfed with Michael Fazio, CEO of Prime Staffing, who posted the photos on Instagram. The post was taken down later, but here is a series of a photos from last year when the two played at Bedminster:
