Turkey Talk at Scherman Hoffman
Bring the family and learn all about those beautiful birds

With autumn in the air, it is time to talk turkey. Join this presentation at Scherman Hoffman Wildlife Sanctuary, 11 Hardscrabble Road in Bernardsville on Saturday, November 14th, from 2 pm to 3:30 pm.
Our Teacher Naturalist, Dorothy Smullen, will explain all there is to know about these interesting birds. Wild turkeys are beautiful and you will learn all about their feathers, calls and more during the indoor presentation. After a short walk outside to explore for their favorite foods, and possibly spotting a few on the trails, participants will return to the center to create a pinecone turkey craft for the holiday table.
This event will be held rain or shine. Please dress for the weather and wear appropriate walking shoes. Registration is required, please call 908-766-5787. Cost is $5 per child member and $7 per child nonmember. Limit 15 children.
