Works by noted artist, Daniel Anderson, will be on display at Chatham Day School from Wednesday, February 4th, through Friday, March 7th, with an open wine and cheese reception for the artist to be held on Thursday, February 6th, at 7:00 p.m.
Mr. Anderson has a loyal collector base spanning numerous cities and countries including Australia, India, London, New York City, Miami and Los Angeles. He terms his paintings as “supreme abstraction.” His visual capacity to explore interplay between altered or abstracted forms and their surroundings is what makes his work highly impactful. Aside from pioneering an entirely new form of sculpture and painting in his “sculpted canvas” works that provide illusion and depth to his painted movements, Anderson looks to portray motion and energy as it relates to color, light, and shadow in all of his works.
Chatham Day School is located at 700 Shunpike Road in Chatham, NJ. For more information about the display, reception, or artist, call Chatham Day School at 973-410-0400, ext. 16 or visit www.chathamdayschool.org or www.dvande.com.
