15 Gold Rings Stolen From Bloomfield Home, Watch Left Behind: PD

A Bloomfield man returned home to find a patio bench pushed up against his kitchen window, police said.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — More than a dozen gold rings were stolen from a Bloomfield home during a recent burglary… and something was also left behind, police said.

According to the Bloomfield Police Department, a Summit Avenue resident said the burglary took place on the afternoon of Sept. 25.

The victim told officers he returned home to find a patio bench pushed up against the kitchen window. When he got inside, he discovered that there were 15 gold rings missing from a jewelry box in his bedroom. The rings were valued at $1,000, police said.

The resident also found a rose-gold Apple watch on the kitchen counter that didn’t belong to him, police said.
