2 Bloomfield Cars Stolen; $1K In Music Instruments Gone: Police
A pair of Bloomfield residents reported stolen vehicles. One of the vehicle owners lost $1,000 in musical instruments, police say.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — A pair of Bloomfield residents reported stolen vehicles on consecutive days last week, police say.
According to the Bloomfield Police Department, the following two incidents were reported in the township:
Oct. 13 – A resident reported that he parked his vehicle, a white, 1999 Ford truck, in the Home Depot lot at 60 Orange Street. Upon returning, he noticed that his vehicle was no longer there. A check of the store security video revealed that a male wearing a grey hood entered the vehicle and drove away. The vehicle was entered NCIC stolen.

Oct. 14 - The owner of a 2014 Ford Focus stated that he last saw his vehicle on Oct. 13 around 7:30 a.m. When he went to check on the vehicle on Oct. 14 at 11:30 a.m., the vehicle was missing. Inside the vehicle there were multiple musical instruments valued at $1,000. The vehicle was entered NCIC stolen.
