2 Cars Stolen In Bloomfield, Another Attempted Theft Reported
Here's where the latest thefts took place, Bloomfield police said.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Two cars were stolen in Bloomfield last week, with another attempted vehicle theft also reported, authorities announced Friday.
The Bloomfield Police Department released the following details about each incident:
May 21 – “Officers responded to the area of North 15th Street on report of a Motor Vehicle Theft. A resident parked her vehicle on the street overnight and when she returned the following morning, it was missing. The vehicle, a red 2019 Kia Forte, was entered as stolen. This incident is under investigation.”

May 24 – “Officers responded to the area of Ampere Parkway and Abington Avenue on report of an Attempted Motor Vehicle Theft. A resident parked his 2012 Hyundai Sonata near his home overnight and when he returned to it the following morning, the vehicle had a shattered rear window and ignition damage. This incident is under investigation.”
May 26 – “Officers responded to the 200 block of Franklin Street on report of a Motor Vehicle Theft. A resident parked his vehicle in front of his home overnight and when he returned the following morning, it was missing. The vehicle, a black 2012 Hyundai Accent, was entered as stolen. This incident is under investigation.”
