2 Cars Stolen In Bloomfield Were Left Running, Police Say
Two vehicles were reported stolen last week in Bloomfield, police said.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Two vehicles were reported stolen last week in Bloomfield, authorities said Tuesday.
According to the Bloomfield Police Department, the following incidents were recently reported in the township:
May 9 – Officers responded to the 400-block of Bloomfield Avenue after getting a report about a stolen vehicle. The owner left his vehicle running while he ran into the store. As he was returning, he observed a man dressed in an orange hoodie jump into his vehicle and flee the area. The vehicle is a grey 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee, and was entered into NCIC as stolen.

May 13 – Officers responded to the area of Elmwood Avenue on report of a stolen motor vehicle. The owner parked her vehicle in the area of Elmwood Avenue and left it running. She then witnessed a man dressed in all black clothing enter her vehicle and flee west on Elmwood Avenue. The vehicle is a black Honda Pilot, and was entered into NCIC as stolen.
