2 Home Burglaries In Bloomfield, Police Say: Parkview, Monroe
Stolen items included a Kindle, an iPad, an ice cream maker and a PlayStation, Bloomfield police said.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — A pair of home burglaries were recently reported in the township, Bloomfield police say.
According to the Bloomfield Police Department, the following incidents were reported earlier this month.
Dec. 17 – “Officers responded to Parkview Drive on a burglary report. The homeowner left his home at 9 a.m. When he returned at 2:30 p.m., he observed his front door unlocked and the bedrooms were rummaged through. Missing from the home is a Kindle notepad valued at $129 and an iPad valued at $200. There were no signs of forced entry observed to the home and the complainant believes the suspect(s) entered through the open garage door. This incident is under investigation.”

Dec. 19 – “An officer was dispatched to Monroe Place on a burglary report. The resident left his apartment at 1:30 p.m. and returned at 9:30 p.m. and observed his door damaged and forced open. He noticed multiple articles of clothing, coats, and shoes missing, two woman’s coats valued at $400, an ice cream maker valued at $75, a pair of Timberland boots valued at $100, and a PlayStation valued at $100. All items taken are valued at $5,975. This incident is under investigation.”
