2 Robberies Reported In Bloomfield On Same Day: Police
Bloomfield police responded to two local businesses after getting reports about robberies. Here's what happened, authorities say.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Two robberies were recently reported in Bloomfield on the same day, authorities say.
The Bloomfield Police Department released the following details about two incidents that took place in the township:
Oct. 27 – “Officers responded to 72 Bloomfield Avenue (Sunoco) after getting a report about a robbery. The complainant was standing in front of the store when he was approached by a male who gestured as if he had a weapon in his pocket. The suspect then knocked the complainant to the ground and went through his pockets. The suspect took his gas pump card and fled the area on foot. This incident is under investigation.”

Oct. 27 – “Officers responded to 374 Bloomfield Avenue (Lynne’s Nissan) after getting a report about a robbery. The complainant was approached by two males wearing face masks. One of the males grabbed the complainant from behind, while the second male took $50 and a medical ID card. This incident is under investigation.”
