BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Are you planning to vote in person for the 2023 general election in Bloomfield? Time for a quick polling place update, officials say.

Bloomfield town officials recently released an update in advance of the election, which takes place on Nov. 7. It read:

“The Bloomfield Township Municipal Clerk’s Office wants to inform the public that the polling place location for the upcoming general election will be the same for Ward One, District 3, and District 12. Due to an inoperable children’s elevator, the polling place originally scheduled at the Children's Library, located at 90 Broad Street, will be relocated next door to the Main Library, also situated at the same address, 90 Broad Street.”

Signs will be posted on Election Day to direct voters from Ward One and Districts 3 and 12 who are approaching the polling location for in-person voting, Bloomfield officials said.
