25-Foot Ladder, Bike Stolen From Bloomfield Garage: Police

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Someone stole a bicycle and a 25-foot ladder from a garage on Ella Street in Bloomfield earlier this month, police said.

According to the Bloomfield Police Department, officers took a report of a burglary at an Ella Street home on Oct. 10. On arrival, the victims – who share a common driveway – told officers that they noticed items missing from their garage.

Among the missing items were a 25-foot ladder valued at $200 and a dark gray Schwinn bicycle valued at $250, police said.

Police said that the garage doesn’t fully close and was kept halfway open prior to the theft.
