3 Cars Stolen In Bloomfield, 2 Were Parked Overnight: Police

Here's where the latest vehicle thefts took place, Bloomfield police said.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Three cars were stolen in Bloomfield last week, including two that had been parked overnight, police announced Thursday.

The Bloomfield Police Department released the following details about the thefts.

May 29 – “Officers responded to the area of Valentine Road on report of a motor vehicle theft. A resident parked his vehicle in his driveway overnight and when he went outside the following morning, it was missing. The vehicle, a gray 2011 Chevy Camaro, was entered into NCIC as stolen. This incident is under investigation.”

May 29 – “Officers responded to the 400-block of Franklin Street on report of a motor vehicle theft. The complainant parked her vehicle on the street at 10 a.m. and when she returned at noon it was missing. The vehicle, a blue 2004 BMW X3, was entered into NCIC as stolen. This incident is under investigation.”

June 3 – “Officers responded to the 200-block of Davey Street on report of a motor vehicle theft. A resident parked her vehicle on the street overnight and upon returning to it the following morning, it was missing. The vehicle, a black 2021 Honda Accord, was entered into NCIC as stolen. This incident is under investigation.”
