3 Days, 4 Stolen Cars In Bloomfield; Nissan Location Among Targets
Four vehicles were recently stolen in Bloomfield over a three-day span, police said.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Four vehicles were recently stolen in Bloomfield over a three-day span, police said Thursday.
The Bloomfield Police Department released the following details about each incident.
Oct. 16 – “Nutley Police broadcasted an occupied burglary in the area of Ohlsen Avenue with the suspects running towards Saddler Road in Bloomfield. Officers later determined that a vehicle was reported stolen by a resident on Saddler Road. The vehicle, a gray 2022 Jeep Commander, was entered in as stolen. This incident is under investigation.”

Oct. 16 – “Officers responded to 318 Bloomfield Avenue (Lynne’s Nissan) on report of two Motor Vehicle Thefts. According to surveillance cameras, a black SUV pulled up and two males shattered the rear windows of two vehicles. The males then took the lock box that held the keys to the vehicles. Approximately 20 minutes later, the same black SUV returned and the same two males ran towards the vehicles and drove them off the lot. Both vehicles, a black 2023 Nissan Titan and a silver 2018 Chevy Impala, were entered in as stolen. This incident is under investigation.”
Oct. 18 – “Officers responded to the 100 block of Walnut Street on report of a Motor Vehicle Theft. A resident provided surveillance video of two individuals walking up their driveway and entering two parked vehicles. The spare key to one of the vehicles was located inside a second vehicle, and the vehicle was subsequently taken. The vehicle, a gray 2012 Honda Pilot, was entered in as stolen. This incident is under investigation.”
