3 Stolen Vehicles In Bloomfield In 1 Day: Police

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Bloomfield recently saw three stolen vehicle reports in a single day, police say.

According to the Bloomfield Police Department, the following incidents were reported on Oct. 12 in the township.

  • Grace Street – “Officers responded to Grace Street on report of a stolen motor vehicle. The resident parked his vehicle in his driveway on 10/12/2020 and when he returned at 4:30 a.m. the vehicle was gone. The vehicle is a silver 2019 Honda CRV, NJ registration P66LWH. The vehicle was entered NCIC stolen. This incident is under investigation.”
  • Chester Avenue/N. 16th Street – “An officer took a report of a stolen motor vehicle from the corner of Chester Avenue and North 16th Street. The owner parked his vehicle on 10/11/2020 at 7:00 p.m. When he returned at 9:30 a.m. on 10/12/2020 the vehicle was gone. The vehicle is black 2017 Nissan Rogue, NJ registration V35MJF. The vehicle was entered NCIC stolen. This incident is under investigation.”
  • LaFrance Avenue – “Officers responded to LaFrance Avenue on report of a stolen motor vehicle. The resident parked his white 2000 Ford van, NJ registration U63LLG in front of his residence at 7 a.m. When he returned at 7 p.m., he noticed his van was gone. The vehicle was entered NCIC stolen. This incident is under investigation.”
