4 Stolen Cars In Bloomfield: Here’s Where Latest Thefts Happened
Four cars were recently stolen in Bloomfield in the span of five days, police said.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Four cars were recently stolen in Bloomfield in the span of five days, police announced Wednesday.
The Bloomfield Police Department released the following details about each theft:
June 26 – Officers responded to First Avenue and North 15th Street after getting a report about a motor vehicle theft. The victim left her vehicle running while she went into Caribe Food Market, and when she returned, her vehicle was missing. The vehicle, a blue 2013 Hyundai Sonata, was entered into NCIC as stolen. This incident is under investigation.

June 28 – Officers responded to Liberty Street and State Street after getting a report about an attempted motor vehicle theft. A resident parked her vehicle on the street overnight and upon returning to it the following morning, she noticed the driver side window broken and heavy ignition damage. The vehicle is a 2015 Hyundai Elantra. This incident is under investigation.
June 28 – Officers responded to 491 Bloomfield Avenue (Exxon) after getting a report about a motor vehicle theft. The victim left his vehicle running outside of the gas station, and after returning to it, he noticed it was missing. The vehicle, a black 2010 Dodge Avenger, was entered into NCIC as stolen. This incident is under investigation.

June 30 – Officers responded to the area of Floyd Street and Grove Street after getting a report about a motor vehicle theft. A resident parked her vehicle on the street, and after returning to it the following morning, she noticed it was missing. The vehicle, a white 2006 Honda Accord, was entered into NCIC as stolen. This incident is under investigation.
