7-Eleven Worker In Bloomfield Robbed, Struck In Face: Police
The victim said he was working the gas pumps when two men hit him in the face. Then two other men joined in the assault, police said.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — A worker at a 7-Eleven in Bloomfield was struck in the face and robbed by several men last week, authorities reported Friday.
According to the Bloomfield Police Department, officers responded to the 7-Eleven on Bloomfield Avenue around 5:20 a.m. on Aug. 23 after getting a report about a robbery.
The victim said he was working the gas pumps when two unknown men approached him, hit him in the face and tried to take his money. Two other men then got out of a white Mercedes nearby and joined in the assault, authorities said.

The suspects entered the gas station’s attendant booth and stole items before fleeing, police said.
According to police, the vehicle used in the robbery was reported stolen out of Little Falls. It was recovered a few hours later on 4th Avenue in East Orange.

A police investigation continues, authorities said Friday. Police released surveillance photos taken at the scene, which can be seen below.
