Last year’s Color Run drew more than 1,200 runners and walkers. Participants move through a closed 5K course, passing through bursts of colorful powder along the way. After the race, attendees can enjoy a foam and color play zone, music, cultural activities, and more.

Rooted in rich cultural traditions, the AAPI New Jersey Color Run is more than a race. It is a celebration of community and culture. The event celebrates Holi, the Hindu Festival of Colors and Spring, which marks the end of winter and honors the triumph of good over evil through joyful bursts of color, and Songkran, the Thai New Year, a time of renewal when water is used to wash away the past year’s misfortunes and welcome happiness and prosperity.

The 5k will begin at 8:30 AM, followed by the 1-mile Fun Run at 10:00 AM. Runners and walkers of all ages are welcome! Race registration is $35 per participant for the 5k and $30 for the 1-mile fun run. Sign up today at: runsignup.com/Race/NJ/Montclair/AAPIMontclairColorRun
