BLOOMFIELD, NJ — A car was recently stolen in Bloomfield after its owner went away for the weekend, authorities said.
According to the Bloomfield Police Department, the theft took place in the area of Thomas Street and was reported on Aug. 31.
The vehicle's owner said he parked his gray 2010 Nissan Altima in his driveway. When he returned after the weekend, it was gone.
A police investigation continues, authorities said.
