Another Cannabis Business Approved In Bloomfield: Liberty Flower Co.

The Bloomfield Planning Board approved an application from Liberty Flower Company. A total of six retailers are permitted under town rules.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Another cannabis business recently got the green light in Bloomfield.

Last week, the Bloomfield Planning Board approved an application from Liberty Flower Company, owned by Bloomfield Parkview LLC. The company had sought conditional use, site plan approval and any such other relief as may be required from the zoning ordinance to operate a retail cannabis establishment in the BCRD-II zone at 550 Bloomfield Avenue.

Liberty Flower Company is the fourth cannabis business to gain approval in Bloomfield, TAP Into reported.

Under the town’s regulations for legal marijuana businesses, a total of six cannabis retailers are permitted in Bloomfield, with two allowed in the northern section of town, two in the central part of town, and two in the southern part of town. At least three of the six retailers must be microbusinesses.
