Armed Robbery Reported At Bloomfield Liquor Store: Police
Back-to-back robberies took place in Bloomfield last week, police say.

Bloomfield, NJ – Police reported that back-to-back robberies took place in Bloomfield last week.
The first incident took place around 8:10 p.m. on Jan. 11, when a 28-year-old Bloomfield resident reported that two males in their late teens robbed him as he was walking on Woodland Road.
According to police, the teens grabbed the man’s briefcase – which contained cash, electronics and documents – and after a brief struggle, fled southbound.

The man told police that he chased after the suspects, but lost them in the area of Davey Street.

The second incident took place around 8:34 p.m., when two male suspects – one armed with a handgun - entered the Discount Liquor Store on First Avenue and allegedly ordered the workers to lie on the ground.
After taking cash from the register, the suspects fled the store towards North 16th Street, police stated.
