Bloomfield police say that in a role reversal, a bicycle struck a car last week, injuring its female juvenile rider.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Bloomfield police say that in a role reversal, a bicycle struck a car last week, injuring its female juvenile rider.

The bicyclist was allegedly seen entering the intersection of JFK Drive and Bloomfield Avenue and going through a red light. She then struck the driver side bumper of a car and suffered a foot injury, police stated.

Emergency responders treated her injury on scene, authorities said.
