Blood Drive In Bloomfield; Donors Get Free Health Screenings

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — The Bloomfield Health Department will sponsor a blood drive on Wednesday, Dec. 19.

According to a municipal news release, the event will take place from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. at 1 Municipal Plaza in Bloomfield. Appointments are recommended.

Organizers said all donors will receive the following free health screenings: Cholesterol, Blood Pressure, Temp, Iron, Pulse and Blood Type.

Donors should weight at least 110 pounds, and should eat/drink before and after donating. Donors should also bring ID.
