3 Cars Stolen From Bloomfield Auto Dealership: Reports

A pair of suspects are in police custody after an incident at an auto dealership in Bloomfield, reports say.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — A pair of suspects are in police custody after multiple cars were stolen from the Lynnes Nissan East auto dealership on Bloomfield Avenue on Tuesday, reports say.

The vehicles were stolen when they were left running while the auto dealership’s lot was being plowed, TAP Into Bloomfield reported.

The stolen vehicles allegedly included a BMW Three Series, a 2007 Lexus and a 2015 Toyota Corolla, RLS Media stated.

An employee managed to follow the vehicles to 7th and 13th Street in Newark, when the suspects allegedly stopped the cars, got out and pointed a gun at the worker, TAP Into reported.

The employee immediately returned to Bloomfield and called local police, the report stated.

A detective later apprehended two suspects after finding them in the vehicle that used to get to Lynne's to commit the theft, according to TAP Into.
